Endorsement for Wendy Davis for Chair of the DPG
There is no question in my mind that Wendy Davis should be our next Chairperson of the Democratic Party of Georgia.
She has demonstrated the commitment, skills, and ability to inspire and lead. We sorely need that dedication, experience, and technological skills Wendy has developed to lead us into a winning era in Georgia.
From the campaign of Congressman Sanford Bishop, to support for State Senate leader Steve Henson, to the Presidential efforts of Bill Richardson and the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz Team, at every level she has been there for us, for Georgia Democrats.
As an elected Georgian to the DNC, she has sounded a clarion call for attention to Georgia, and for respecting and supporting our special needs and talents as a targeted state.
I have seen Wendy work until 1am at the Peachtree office, then get up the next morning for a Harris-Walz campaign meeting at 9AM. No one can beat her work ethic!
Her motherly, sisterly, engaging-as-a-friend skills are awesome.
Wendy’s fierce determination and success in making rural Rome the best little ole city in our state should be a lesson to elected leaders and Democratic supporters of every town throughout Georgia.
Wendy is simply the best, coming to this “kingdom” not of our making, but for such a time as this!
We should be proud that she is ready. Ready to lead, correct, connect, raise funds and serve.
